Dear Friends
We’re really excited to have started to pull together a digital history of Cardrona. This project has been a long time coming, and this is just the beginning.
We do still have a lot of information – interviews, photos, documents – which have not been added to this site. That’s planned for the future.
We know that there will also be a lot of information missing. Maybe we don’t have your family history recorded here. Perhaps you were involved in some significant way with the story of the Cardona Valley, but we’ve not yet recognised you or your family. We likely are missing many photos that you or your family have stored in an album somewhere. No doubt, there are other people we should be interviewing. Or there might be something else we’ve not got right.
We absolutely want to hear from you. We’re interested in photos, facts and information which might be included on this website. Our aim is to accurately reflect the history of the Cardrona Valley, share it and store it digitally for future generations.
So please, don’t be offended if we’ve not yet incorporated your story, or your family’s. When we have new information from Cardrona people and funding allows, we’ll make updates.
Help us to make this a valuable resource for Cardrona!
Kind regards
The Trustees
